Meet Amelia's Cousin... Jackson Bedelia

Jackson was unloading the dishwasher this afternoon and asked where to put the measuring cup.  From the other room, I told him that it went above the coffee maker.

This is what I meant.
(in the cabinet above the coffee maker)

And, OMW... this is where he put it.

Watch out Amelia Bedelia...

  10. Too funny! And thanks for the reference to a childhood favorite, good 'ol Amelia. Hadn't thought about her in a long time (I'm sure once my kids get to your boys' ages, she'll make a return appearance.) Hope you, Mike and the boys have a great 4th!

  12. Did you know that whenever I come to your blog of try to comment i get this pop-up telling me to log into twitter. It basically forces you to log into Twitter (which I am not on) or it does not let me comment of read things until I hit cancel several times. It continually pops up every time you try to comment, enter the word verification or read a new page. I am not sure why it happens but I wonder if it happens to other people. I don't always comment because it makes it quite difficult. I am not saying this to complain at all because I love coming here and adore you.....but I just wasn't sure if you knew this and or wanted that twitter log-in on your blog.

  13. Can't really give him too much grief about that one, now can you? I love it!! It is SO something that Lorelai would have done back in the day.
