Tuesday's Kitchen Inspirations
Another Tuesday and another look around my kitchen for what inspires me and makes me happy. I know I'm off on the season. This was two years ago at Jackson's kindergarten Thanksgiving feast. But I love these Lilly pink whale jeans! I bought them in Chatham (on the Cape) a few years ago when I had my annual Connie "If You Weren't There, We Talked About You!" weekend. I went to a wonderful girls school (to be PC, "womens college): Converse College. You can read about the last weekend we had in A Weekend at Connie's.
Anyway... I digress. I am heartbroken that I can not get my fat derriere in said jeans. Therefore, I have this picture on my refrigerator as a kitchen inspiration. I want these babies to be loose in September when I make my way back up to Nantucket!

...I highly doubt you are "fat"! I ordered some Lilly from RueLaLa and am sad to say that NONE of it fit and I ordered a size LARGER than I thought I was! Now that is FAT!!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll fit in those jeans in no time! And just for the record, you're beautiful, not fat, but I understand wanting to fit in skinny jeans. I have a few of those wishful thinking jeans in my closet. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love those jeans! How adorable... but you are adorable no matter what jeans you are wearing! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you are not one bit fat and I admire your determination. I need some motivation myself and this stinking cloudy, chilly weather is not helping. So far I have been to Starbucks twice today!
ReplyDeleteI think you are beautiful regardless, but I totally get the skinny jean thing. I have a pair that are calling my name too. I support you 110%! TEAM BEVY!! XOXO
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! I just can't wait to hug your neck in Nantucket, jeans or no jeans!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I am dieting too; it soooo stinks :)
Oh, I have those jeans, too! Love them and looking for the perfect shoes to wear with them. Listen you! You are a true beauty, in and out!!!
ReplyDeleteYOu can do it! I know you can!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable here!!!!
ReplyDeleteI discovered that perhaps I too have gained some weight this winter...I saw a photo of myself yesterday and I had a bulge around my middle that has never been there before so I can certainly empathize. I am going to do something about it before it get worse!!!
Aw cute picture- I have been meaning to ask- would you mind trying to send that book list again?? I am finishing up a book and would love some input. ;) My e-mail is lindseylwhite@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!!! I totally relate. I can't wait to see you in person in these great jeans! You are ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteCute jeans!
ReplyDeleteYou and fat bum don't go together.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture. Jackson is quite the cute pilgrim. Have a great day.
How cute are those jeans?! You'll get there! I have a couple of outfits that I'm trying to will myself into as well. Which means, I need to get on the treadmill more and leave the soft drinks and sweets alone!
ReplyDeleteConverse! That was so neat to read...my mother, grandmother and great aunt all went to Converse but I bucked-the-trend and went to Queens College, another all girl's school, er yes, yes, um still women's college at the time over in North Carolina.
ReplyDeleteBest, Lachlan
Love those darling jeans. I can see why you want to fit back into them! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...whatever you need to lose.
