Have you ever been in the kitchen and needed to know some measuring conversion? How many cups are in a quart? How many tablespoons are in 3/4 cup? If I don't have a bundt cake pan, what could I substitute?
Well have no fear 'cause
Bevy... Ok, Martha is here! Or at least her "Cooks Helpers"! This threesome includes baking pan substitutions, measuring equivalents, and candy-making temperatures.
You can find these printables
here and the directions
here. I can't wait to print these out! Too cute!
Maybe these will inspire me to be a little more "Martha-esque" in the kitchen. I bet it could be a good thing...
Measurement and conversions were some of my favorite concepts to teach when I was teaching family and consumer science aka home economics. I taught these concepts using "Gallon Man"- very elementary, but high school students loved it. I've seen these printables before and they are excellent in the kitchen. I know several people with similar tools taped to the inside of a cabinet door.
ReplyDeleteThey look great!! Good idea.
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable- I'm totally printing those and making Martha's magnets!! By the way, thanks for the sweet compliment about that yellow dress! :)
ReplyDeleteI printed those last summer and put velcro on the back and velcroed them to the inside of my baking cabinet. They are a great help and a great idea, of course because they are from Martha!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Those are so cute. It's something that I will use often.
ReplyDeleteI always forget if quarts or pint are smaller. Darn customary measurement system! TFS
ReplyDeleteThose are great! I always have to pull out my Paula Dean books. This will be much easier!
ReplyDeleteI am the worst baker in the world! These would definitely be a help!
ReplyDeleteLove ANYthing Martha...these are so neat!! Also congrats on your "stylish" award!!!
ReplyDeleteOops! I am so sorry that I didn't email you about the award! I think you are just down right fun! Yes, I teach first grade.......which is why I didn't remember to message you about the award. :).
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these! I am always substituting something, it seems!
