That got your attention didn't it?! Some of you know that I have been home for the past two days with a miserable cough. Completely exhausting. My head and chest feel like they have been in a vice. But my wonderful husband has been so sweet and understanding, even as I have been keeping him up the past few nights with my coughing. My family has been eating cereal for the past two nights, the laundry is piled in the laundry room, and I've looked like as cast member of "Night of the Living Dead".
But now I think he is ready for me to get better - and quickly. So my husband convinced me to finally see our doctor (like taking an act of Congress!) to get me well.
The diagnosis: acute sinus infection.
The treatment: seven days of antibiotics... and cough medicine with CODEINE!
Ah.... Looking forward to a restful night...
